Also to add to the ducks in the Hawkesbury area, there were 100 Plumed
Whistling-ducks yesterday (31/4/06) at their usual favourite spot at
Fernleigh's Lagoon at the end of Triangle Lane, Richmond. Also seen here
were 2 Pink-eared Ducks, 10 Hardhead, an adult female Brown Goshawk
perched on a stump beside the road next to a corn paddock and a Restless
Flycatcher with a beautiful orange wash on the throat.

Hello all, for those who don't know, all the major lagoons in the
Hawkesbury are now dry with Bakers being pumped dry by the irrigators
last week. However Roughleys/ Powells at Richmond as plenty of water
with an Aus Shelduck and a Freckled duck there yesterday, also at a
lagoon just west of Bushells not accessible to the public there are two
Red-necked Avocet.
