  Hi All,

While birding at the Western Treatment Plant this afternoon I
misplaced the case for my x-drive (a small portable hard drive for
digital files). The cover is a small black nylon case very similar to
a camera case for an instamatic camera. The only thing the case
contains is a data cable for the drive. I travelled in and out via
Paradise Rd and visited all the usual spots north of Little River
(Walshes, Conservation Ponds, Little River Mouth, Borrow Pits etc). If
anybody picks it up Id be grateful if they could let me know.

Lots of Red-necked Stints still in breeding plumage and a handful of
Sharp-tailed and Curlew Sandpipers with a bit of colour. A few
Black-tailed Godwit, Marsh Sandpipers and Greenshank also about. A
single Wood Sandpiper past the Conservation ponds was probably the
best wader. About 40 or so White-winged Black Terns at Little River
mouth were also in stunning plumage.

  Cheers,

  Rohan Clarke
