Hi Keith Looks like you had a great trip, with good birds! The mallee has been very productive this autumn. I'm surprised to see no mention of Black-eared Miner at Gluepot. Since late March there have been quite a few small to medium sized flocks particularly in the central-northern parts of the reserve. You do mention a Yellow-throated Miner; while in fact, they are quite rare, and the chance of coming across a hybrid or BEM is much higher than a pure YTM. To birding-aussers intending to visit Eremophila Park, even though Keith has given GPS coordinates, entry is by permission only (and Stella is only to happy to grant it, you will find her house along the road - it's the only house).
