Just a quick note to let you know that whilst showing visiting Melbourne birder Nicole Brooker around Mt Mee State Forest (60 kms NW of Brisbane) today we found a small group of Black-breasted Buttonquail off one of the walking-tracks. Also noted in same area as BBBQ were 3 species of Monarch, (White-eared, Black-faced and Spectacled) and Crested Shrike-tit.
