Collared Sparrowhawk & Galahs

Subject: Collared Sparrowhawk & Galahs

Twice the other day a second-year female Collared Sparrowhawk (according to the guidebooks) 'went for' a Galah, appearing to single one out of a small group. Was this bird just 'practising', or is it possible they'd go for such large prey?
