G'day Jade,

I've seen hybrids in Brisbane and out at Glen Rock [south of Gatton]. They had elements of both plumages, but I don't think there is a consistent pattern to the hybrid plumage.

Regards, Laurie.

Hi All,

Saw a Pale-headed Rosella paired up with an Eastern Rosella feeding in a grevillia yesterday in Carrara on the Gold Coast in Queensland which made me wonder what the young of such a pairing look like. Does anyone have any photos or know of a birding page where i can view some photos of these birds. I have used the example of various species cross breeding in the wild before whilst giving talks to classes about birds and i'm sure the kids would also like to see some photos. Looking forward to everyones replies.

Yours Sincerely
Mr Jade Welch
