Adelaide saltworks

Hi,
I am a British birder planning a trip to Australia later in April and early 
May, and I am interested in the possibility of birding the saltworks around 
Adelaide for shorebirds. I would be grateful if someone could recommend 
which area might be best at that time of year and how I can arrange access.
