Good afternoon.

Last week my wife Charlotte & myself had 3 days R & R at Rawson (near Walhalla).

Saw a few birds but the best one as follows. Was walking near the Caravan
Park and saw a bird near some trees. First I thought it was a Bronzewing but
it was smaller and then I lost it. Waited near the track and then it wandered
out and it was a Spotted Quail-thrush. Saw it for 2/3 minutes and next
morning went back and easily saw it again.

That same day we went for a drive to the Thompson Dam (about 20k) and it was
mid-morning. Along the road I stopped as there was a bird standing on the
road further down. It wasn't one but 3 Spotted Quail-thrush. Saw another
in the Silvertop Picnic Ground (next to the Thompson) and a further 3 at
different times near the side of the road back to Rawson.
