Hi all,
I know that Queensland always go through the same ordeal.. all so that 400 
people can go out and shoot ducks and quails.  What always stumps me though, 
where is benefit to the government in allowing the season to open?  An extra 
400 or something votes?  I don't think so!  Not when thousands oppose the 
move.
Perhaps if we can figure out why THEY are so keen to let people go out there 
and shoot ducks (isn't it deemed animal cruelty by RSPCA? Every other form 
of killing animals just about is), then efforts can be made into resolving 
that issue.. because it doesn't appear that lobbying nor scientific evidence 
has the least amount of effect.
