Dear all

A friend reported one adult Channel-billed Cuckoo feeding in his fig tree (native variety) yesterday morning - the noise alerted him to its presence. This was at 2806 Thunderbolts Way, Tibbuc, about 35km north of Gloucester NSW (which is north of Newcastle).

On Saturday a walk with friends in Woko National Park (20 km or so west of Gloucester NSw), located nothing remarkable except a nice sighting of one Rufous Fantail and 4 Superb Lyrebirds. We were late, it being 11am before we got started on the Cliff Walk - my friends are not birders!
