Hi all
I heard a Koel calling early on both Saturday and Sunday mornings (11, 12 March) from my house in Turramurra (northern Sydney)
Today (Sunday 12), I saw a good sized flock of White Throated Needletails (60 odd birds) over the house at about 4pm, which drifted off northwards.
Also, had a Peregrine overfly at about 4:30pm and a flock of 20 Topknot Pigeons flew southwards at about 3:30.
Not a bad afternoon for sitting outside, reading the paper and keeping an eye on the bird life!
Cheers
Tom Wilson
