Hi all,

I'll be in Mackay on the weekend of the 18th-19th of March, and was hoping to get some info on the various sites around town where I might find some birds.  This will be the furthest north in QLD I've birded, so even common birds like the sunbird would be good.  I'm particularly looking to get to Eungella for the endemic honeyeater.  Any spots that might be particularly good for photography would also be nice to know about.

Also, if there were anyone planning on doing some birding that weekend and wouldn't mind a tag-along I'd really appreciate it.

Regards,
Chris Sanderson
