Found the restless flycatcher whilst out walking along the Cooks River again last night. This time it (any idea as to gender?) was in the mangroves opposite Lees Park. Its grating call is quite distinctive and could be heard above the numerous willy wagtails and a pied butcherbird as well as soccer training. I took some photos which came out quite well given it was 7.30pm and the bird was perched in the middle of a mangrove. The photos can be viewed at http://www4.tpg.com.au/users/berg/flycatcher1.JPG and http://www4.tpg.com.au/users/berg/flycatcher2.JPG . In the 2nd photo you can just make out the buff throat colouring. Nice of it to sit still given its common name! Dave
