This afternoon I saw two Powerful Owls roosting in an Ash tree near the end of Garie St, Blackburn, Melbourne. The tree was 50 metres along a walking path heading northwest from behind the Girl Guides Hall, next to a resident's fence and opposite the Blackburn Creek drain on the left of the path.
