A great start to the working day. Upon entering the office carpark before 0800hrs I could here the unmistakable calling of a raptor overhead. Once in the office we could see the puff of feathers floating away from the building next door (Orica, corner Albert and Nicholson Sts.). From our 2nd floor window we had some nice views of a pair of Peregrine Falcons plucking the feathers off a kill above us. In the space of a kilometre we have Little Falcon (Fitzroy Gardens) & Kestrel (Australian Catholic University)(and possibly Peregrine) nesting on city buildings. Just as well a colleague had the binoculars handy.... cheers Martin O'Brien
