G'day Steve,

That certainly is an interesting find so far from the coast. That reminds me
of the HH Grebe I picked up in my backyard a couple of years ago. Nearest
water, which is a farm dam, is about 400m away so I was surprised to see it
wandering around. It did look a little disoriented though. I released him to
L Ham and he looked fine.

Cheers,

David Cameron

G'day all

A Fairy Prion was picked up in Hamilton a couple of days ago and
taken to a wildlife shelter. It is in good health and will be
released at Port Fairy today. Hamilton is 60km from the nearest
coast. Anyone care to speculate on how it might have found it's way
so far inland?

Cheers

Steve Clark
