Hi Chris,
 
I have seen two late last year in the she-oaks at the end of Bayswater Road in Kings Cross (near the Church). They were there on and off for about a week I could also hear one in 2004 calling nearby.
 
They are also often in Rushcutters Bay park.

Ues to occasionally hear Koels and Channel Bills calling when I lived
in Darlington - the other side of the railway line - the CBs liked the
fig-trees in the university campus.
