I spent some time watching a couple at Bicentennial Park, Homebush, yesterday as well, though these are a little bit older. They were in a great spot to watch too: Down the Northern end of the lake (I can't remember it's name), right in front of the bird hide.

hi all

If you are in Sydney and in the mood for some black wing stilt chicks, there
are some at wetland 1b (near the village green) at Sydney Park St Peters.

How long they will last, given the foxes, dogs and feral cats, I don't know
but I resisted the temptation to rush down and bring them home to raise.

Also some Australian Grebes are nesting on Wetland 5.

cheers
