Joy, details for Ryans Swamp near the Western Treatment Plant Werribee.
This wetland is located between the Murtcaim Road and the Princes
Highway/Freeway east of the where the freeway crosses the Little River.
Ryans Swamp has the following geographic details:

Approx Lat/Long: 37 deg 58 min 40 sec, 144 deg 33 min 30 sec
Previous wetland category: Deep Freshwater Marsh (now partially drained)
Current wetland category: Freshwater Meadow
This wetland is recorded in the DSE Wetlands Database (and the reference
below) with the above information and has some waterbird counts done over
the years. Should you, or any other observers, visit this locality then
please remember to forward a copy of your sightings to the Atlas of
Victorian Wildlife (including all other animals you see at the time).
