Hi all
Just thought I would share some birding moments from home that are a bit
different to the norm.
On Friday we had 3 Musk Lorikeets come in and drink at one of our cattle
troughs. I have heard them flying over during the last couple of weeks
and this is only our second record for the property.
Yesterday , on the way into Dungog there were 3 Rainbow Bee-eaters
hawking around close to the river. I haven't seen any around for a few
years.
In the evening we had around 80 Galahs feeding in an 8 metre high
Cassuarina ( River Oak ) in our back yard. A fantastic colour against
the setting sun, not to mention the noise!
Cheers
