Still at least six Sarus Cranes and the same number of Bustards on the
Atherton Tablelands. Cranes near and at Hasties Swamp, Bustards a little
further east on the Atherton-Malanda Road in a paddock of peanuts.
The female rail has not been seen today, the male's limp has become much worse but there are still four chicks.
