Greetings. Carol wrote: the Superb Lyrebird, who will sometimes build the "cradle" or stick platform (the foundation upon which the nest chamber is placed) a year or more in advance. This is what I have observed in the pigeons. They may build the nest structure well in advance but line it with vine tendrils before laying.
