Swifts over Turramurra

A largish party of White Throated Needletails was over my house in
Turramurra (N Sydney) today between 5 and 5:30 - my estimate was well over
100 birds, at various altitudes and some cruising very slowly so that one
could get a great view of all the features and they were so low (roof
height) that I could see the little spines on the tail feathers.
I had a good look, but there did not appear to be any unusual birds in the
flock.
