Hi all
This afternoon I successfully twitched the Oriental Pratincole at Aldinga,
SA. A new tick for me, having just missed out on the species during a visit
to Broome a few years ago. The bird was in the exact same location as
described by previous observers, and Tony's GPS coordinates were spot-on.
The bird was showing well, walking around on the dried-up mud for a while
following which it sat back in one of the depressions where it was much
harder to see.
Thanks to Neville for initially reporting it on Birding-Aus, it's great to
see some more SA birders starting to use this list.
Cheers
