more 05/06 reports:

on 4/11/05 a single at Karumba, Qld.
on 7/11/05, much more spectacular - birds were noted streaming north over the road for 100-150km either side of Windorah. There were always a couple of dozen at least in view, and the total number seen, all going north, was comfortably in the thousands, though no attempt was made at a count. Arriving at Bowra the next afternoon Ian reported that he had had large numbers of swifts (unidentified) going over, again all were heading north.
