While walking the dog yesterday was rewarded with a view of an adult Powerful Owl roosting in dense vegetation in a small patch of creekside bush. It was holding the rear end remains of a Ringtail Possum. First time I have seen one here, however one was photographed in the same general locale and published in the local paper a few months ago. -- John Reidy, Sydney Phone: 02 9871 4836 Fax: 02 9871 2616 -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
