While walking the dog yesterday was rewarded with a view of an adult
Powerful Owl roosting in dense vegetation in a small patch of creekside
bush. It was holding the rear end remains of a Ringtail Possum.

First time I have seen one here, however one was photographed in the
same general locale and published in the local paper a few months ago.
