What's your problem Paul?
We get all sorts of migrants to Aus, in addition to the northern
hemisphere types.  We interchange species with PNG and NZ as well as
the southern ocean.
There's no reason why we won't see changes in migration patterns that
may be comparable to what is happening in Europe.
