Chris,Most parrots have the capacity to throw leucistic forms, it is not that unusal. However Inland Dotterels at Bourke are more unusual. As editor of the NSW Annual Bird Report, I would be interested in receiving more details of the date and location of the sighting. You can reply direct to me at In fact there have been few published records for this species at Bourke, usually they are reported from the Wanaaring-Tibooburra area, less regularly from the Tilpa-White Cliffs area and again more regularly for the Hay-Ivanhoe area.
