Hello all.

Just a short snippet that I failed to mention in my summary of birdos use of GPS which I posted to the list last week.

The current issue of Wild magazine has an article on (some) GPS units available in Australia.  The units surveyed were all $300- and above (up to $1 480-)

Poppin, J. (2005) GPS Receivers: John Poppin tests ten models.  Wild, Australia's Wilderness Adventure Magazine, Spring (Oct-Dec) 2005, no. 98.  pp: 65-69.

I hope people found the information in the summary of interest.

cheers
