Hi Netters,

On a visit to Hobart 24/10 to 26/10 with some birding friends the Scrubtit, Olive Whistler and Crescent Honeyeater were seen on the dirt walking track at The Springs car park 4km up the Mt Wellington road. Eight Swift Parrots were seen on Bruney Island in flowering eucalypts in the picnic area south of the penguin lookout and at the ferry terminal. As usual Peter Murrill Reserve gave us 7 endemics plus others. At the Hobart Airport red flowering eucalypts had numerous Musk Lorikeets. Fern Tree had Scrubtit, Flame Robin and Pink Robin. Pallid Cuckoos were on most electric wires calling to their hearts content.

All the Best
