Following on from the discussion of Bee-eater abundance in the South Australian Riverland, I saw a lone Rainbow Bee-eater flying above Barton Terrace West, North Adelaide on Saturday 29th October 2005. The first time I've seen one there. Another new bird this year for my Barton Terrace West list was a single Eastern Spinebill, seen on 4th May 2005. I remember hearing that there's a chap who has been recording Adelaide Parkland birds for a number of years, does anyone have a contact email for him?
