Hi I was watching a pair of Channel-billed Cuckoos going through a sort of courtship ritual this morning. The male had a large praying mantis and was offering it to the female who rather grumpily snatched bits of it. The female has a silver metal band on the left leg. Location Bolton Point, Lake Macquarie (151.6135, -33.0064).
