Hi Crispin,

Last month Sat 3 Sept, Allan Richards and myself saw
one lonely Red Knot at Penrhyn Estuary beside the
narrow boat ramp. I did not expect to see Red Knot
that early. Double-banded Plover were still present at
that time.

Red Knots have been recorded last October. In fact,
two flagged Red Knots and one flagged Curlew Sandpiper
were photographed last year at Penrhyn Estuary. All
were tagged in Victoria.

Regards,

St Leonards,
3km north of Sydney Harbour Bridge
