Yesterday I wrote:

 

Diana and I visited the Leanyer (Darwin) Sewage Ponds this morning (Sat 1 Oct) – 2 Little Ringed Plover, 6 Little Curlew, 1 Oriental Plover.

 

 

To add to Saturday’s interesting waders around Darwin, I can report a Long-toed Stint at Knuckey Lagoons (specifically “Snipe Lagoon”) Saturday afternoon, and then yesterday (Sunday 2 Oct) another Oriental Plover at Fogg Dam (and a number of Little Curlew – with hundreds of Brolga), and another Long-toed Stint at the Palmerston Sewage Ponds.
