Hi all, Just a quick note to let you know that the next Melbourne public seminar of Birds Australia is on Thursday 8 September, at 8:00pm. As our guest speaker we have one of Australia's leading conservation activists, Laurie Levy of the Coalition Against Duck Hunting. In his talk entitled Recreational shooting of native waterbirds Laurie will speak about the many changes since the campaign to ban recreational shooting started in 1986.
