I'm planning to be in Melbourne in early October (I don't have definite dates yet) and am looking for info on Werribee.
Do I need a key and permit for the whole area or just certain sections? Who do I contact to get a permit and key?

I'm specifically looking for the following birds:
Australasian Bittern
Spotless Crake
Lewins Rail
Pectoral Sandpiper
Black Tailed Godwit
Fairy Tern
White Winged Black Tern
Blue Winged Parrot
Orange Bellied Parrot (if I'm not too late)
Striated Fieldwren

I will be following the coast from Batemans Bay to Melbourne so hopefully I will pick up some of these birds along the way. Are there specific locations in Werribee or other more likely locations around Melbourne or eastern Victoria for the above species?

If anyone around Melbourne is available to go out there with me that would be great too.
Please email me privately.

Thanks in advance
