Hello everyone
I was talking to a friend who owns a property at Conondale in SEQ with a rainforested creek line.  Recently, he and another person were walking in the rainforest during the day and came upon a frogmouth sitting on the ground.  They stood right beside it but it did not move.  Both are interested in birds but not experienced birders and could not tell if it was a Tawny or a Marbled.  My friend went back the next day and the bird was gone.
Another mystery to ponder ...
Best wishes
Andrew
