Hi Minnippi on Sunday morning - 1 Latham's Snipe feeding in the open - early arrival or over winter?? A mixed flock of (total approx 30) Tree and Fairy Martins feeding on top of the hill and a Fan-tailed Cuckoo in the trees and, despite the recent cold-for-Qld mornings, one would think it was Spring already! An adult Sea Eagle chased away by the resident crows was an awesome sight and all three local Fairy-wren species hopping and bopping around on the grass presented photographic challenges. -- Colin Reid So many birds, so little time...... -- http://www.fastmail.fm - I mean, what is it about a decent email service? -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
