Hi,
Frank Valkenborgh and I decided to check out Pitt town lagoon on saterday. Waterlevels have risen after last months rains. But there is still a fair bit of mudflat but not too many waders.
Our list for saterday was (very comon species not included)
Hoary headed Grebe 2
Yellow billed spoonbill 1
Royal spoonbill 3
Great Egret 1
Glossy Ibis 1
Straw necked ibis 10+
Black shouldered kite 3
Marsh harrier 2-3
Brown falcon 1
Australian hobby
kestrel
Brown quail 10
Buff banded rail
Spotted cracke Black fronted dottrel
Little grassbird
Zebra finch (20+)
Double barred finch 6
Chesnut breasted mannakin 10
Red browed finch 4
Bushells lagoon
Australian hobby 2
Black shouldered kite
Marsh harrier
