Hi
Just a quickie for Brisbane birders - Swamp Harrier (adult male) at
Metroplex this morning - nice. White Ibis colony appears to have
increased enormously and the reed beds are much more extensive.

On the nest building/breeding early, trend - a newly fledged Brown
Honeyeater attended by it's parents same place as above this morning and
a Red-backed Fairy-wren couple nest building. Also at Metroplex at least
1 pair of Magpie Geese on nest.
Yesterday at Yorke's Hollow (Springhill, Brisbane)a family of 7 newly
hatched Wood Ducklings were herded into the water by their ever
attentive parents.
