Ah, my mistake in not making myself clear. The nest was on the ground because a predator had ripped it out of its tree.

Hi Collin. Was the thornbill nest on the ground definately that of Striated TB's as this is the usual location by choise of Brown TB's. If you are certain the nesting species was Striated then a nest record would be recomended. Cheers Jeff Davies.
