Dear All,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy a copy of McKinnon and
Phillips, A Field Guide to the Birds of Borneo Sumatra Java and Bali. It is
currently out of print and I have been unable to locate a copy in the

It seems to be genuinely difficult to source (I was lucky enough to get mine out of a remainder bin in a country bookshop years ago).

A quick search on bookfinder.com reveals that new copies however can be bought from the UK and Canada ...

It would be easy enough to get them in from either place in time to go to Sumatra in 3 weeks!  (BTW - they are AU$ in the bookfinder page - not cheap).

It's not a great field guide either, but in the absence of anything to replace it is still very worthwhile having on the trip.
