Hi just to let everyone know that the swift parrots are here again in Muckleford  and have been since late March. Lately the swfities have been feeding on the ground again, sometimes in large groups of up to 100 birds. They seem to be feeding on lerp casings, shell grass seed heads and the flowers of coffee bush. Have got some good shots on video. Will wait and see how long they stay this year. Last year they arrived late April and left early October. Regularly between 50 to 100 birds each day. They are spending more and more time on the ground feeding, well over 2 hours. Catch you later Deb Worland
