Yesterday on Skinners swamp at Carbrook (an outer southern suburb of Brisbane) there were about 24 Pink eared ducks. This is the first time in about 5 years that I have seen them in this vicinity. I guess that the inland drought conditions have pushed them so close to the coast along with the increased sightings of Freckled ducks near the coast.
