Just to add to Roy's report of Freckled Ducks in SEQld, John Hadley picked
up 3 at Lake Dyer, near Laidley, on 16 June and there were 6 there when we
returned together the next morning - I should have posted this sooner, for
which apologies.

Michael Atzeni saw 2 more at Lake Freeman yesterday afternoon, I guess these
were the same two that Roy saw.

There does seem to have been some movement of Freckled Duck into Southern
Queensland over the last couple of weeks.

Hi All

Have been out and about quite a bit the past couple of weeks and seeing good
birds despite weather more reminiscent of Victoria (cold, wet, sleet etc).
Last week we picked up 8 Freckled Ducks at Coolmunda Dam near Inglewood
(east of Goondiwindi in southern Queensland) and yesterday we saw 2 at Lake
Freeman (next to Lake Apex) in Gatton in the Lockyer Valley.
