Hi all,
Some key sightings in Byron Bay (800km north of Sydney / 200km south Brisbane) and surrounds last weekend (3-5 June) were:
Flock of 40+ Topknot Pigeons feeding on camphor laurel in hinterland near Federal.
Pair of Logrunners seen on the Minyon Falls walk in Nightcap National Park. I have not observed them here before (only in nearby Mt Warning NP).
Pied Oystercatchers during a busy and sunny Friday on Watego's beech.
Regards,
Charles Hunter
