G'day all Five Swift Parrots in the forest near the Bealiba water supply (se of town) and three in Tunstalls State Forest a few km to the north of town today. I only had a few minutes at each spot (supposed to be working). Some of the Eucs (Grey Box? and Yellow Gum) were flowering but not profusely. Also in the Tunstall S.F. were a single male Hooded Robin and a group of 7 Peaceful Doves together. I've only ever seen them in one's or two's before. I wasn't serious about ticking the Marabou Stork by the way!
