It's a great story and I think about places like Westgate Park in Melbourne
which also, with less money, are recreating wetlands with public access.
And I feel some Ozzie pride that - and I don't often do commercials! -
Banrock Station is helping out. Sales of this Hardy's brand in the UK help
the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust which inspired this project.
Banrock Station also does similar work here and in the USA via a commitment
to donate so much for sales of their wines. In the UK the donation is about
1c a litre but that has built up to about $300,000, associated with a
difficult-to-calculate amount of awareness raising.
It's also an interesting story because Banrock Station started with the good
idea of attaching a little packet of Ozzie seeds with its wine. They
responded to criticisms about seeds going to the wrong regions, and by
mistake to another country, and arrived at their current campaign.
How about a Gluepot or Newhaven promotion ?
