With the continuing southerlies/south-easterlies
here, it is worth alerting Sydney seabirders.
Conditions are good.

Dave Mitford had a very early Slender-billed
Prion on Friday off Mistral Point, Maroubra, and
I saw my first Brown Skua of the winter there on
Saturday. There have also been two late Arctic
Jaegers, a number of Black-browed Albatross (the
ones I identified were adult melanophrys), as
well as a few latish Short-tailed Shearwaters.
Also on Saturday there were three Great-winged
Petrels close in, NZ subspecies.
