Hi All,
We all know of the unfortunate tale of the (hopeful, but unsuccessful)
breeding Sea Eagles at Homebush that Mysteriously passed away last year. It
is my understanding that the "powers to be" were unable to determine the
cause of death.
But on a positive note, I visited the site yesterday with Paul Johnstone and
a new pair of Sea-eagles have taken up the roost of the late sea-eagles.
Paul and I watched as the new pair caught fish and roosted in the same
mangrove (nesting platform) as the previous WBSE's on the Parramatta River.
Here's hoping that this pair maybe more successful.
